Your Property/Casualty Client/Agency Management Solution!
For those agents and agencies specializing (or even dabbling) in Property/Casualty Insurance; this is the solution you have been looking for. The Property/Casualty Module Includes all ACORD Forms and the Advanced Scanning Module which when paired together as the “P&C Module” gives you a $200 discount.

Electronic ACORD form Generation
All ACORD Forms (Over 1,400 in total) can be quickly and easily generated through the AGENCY EXPERT system. Data from the database is merged into the form where applicable with the balance of the data entry being executed straight into the form while electronically displayed on your monitor. The form, once data entry is completed, can then be printed. An electronic copy of the form is also saved and electronically attached to the record(s) for which it was printed. The saved form can be edited, viewed, and/or re-printed at a future date if/when necessary.

“Advanced” Scanning Module:
The Advanced Scanning Module of AGENCY EXPERT allows you to scan documents, photographs, applications,
letters, etc. directly into the AGENCY EXPERT database as an attachment to any record within the database. Once the scanned item is attached to the desired record (all of which is a single-step process directed by AGENCY EXPERT), that scanned item can be quickly viewed and/or printed directly from within AGENCY EXPERT.

All scanned items are accessed via the record to which they were attached when scanned into the system giving the user quick and easy access to the desired item(s). If you are using a scanner that gives you the capability of “Automatic Document Feeding” – ADF - (for Mass scanning of multiple pages at once) the GBS, Inc. “Advanced” Scanning Module could save you an enormous amount of time and effort.

Claims Tracking and Processing
Claims tracking and processing is automated to give a complete and efficient solution to guarantee all claims are properly processed and cataloged by you and/or your staff.

“Carrier Downloads” (Downloading Data to Automatically Update Records) from ANY Insurance Carriers*
The Carrier Download Synchronization capability has traditionally (by many of our competitors) been setup through a seamless direct dial link with the home office for a proprietary data download. The problems with this approach are that it requires a proprietary download scheme to be developed for each carrier by the vendor.  This approach is thus time consuming for the vendor to develop and support.  In the end, the development costs, of course, must be passed along to the end user in the form of exorbitant licensing and monthly support fees. In addition, not all of your carriers may download to the particular vendor(s) in a proprietary/seamless format. As a matter of fact, not even 5% of the carriers in North America do NOT download data to their agents.

Now, the good news! GBS, Inc. has developed a better and more cost-effective solution. Instead of setting up a proprietary download scheme with each and every carrier, GBS, Inc. has developed a module which “dove-tails” in with the already existing and very powerful AGENCY EXPERT Importing Module to allow ANY ASCII, Comma-Delimited, .CSV (Excel Spreadsheet) and/or .TXT file download (no matter the source or intended destination) to be mapped to and then synchronized into the AGENCY EXPERT database!

What this means to the user is that one package (the AGENCY EXPERT) is able to take your carrier-downloaded ASCII or other comma-delimited files and automatically pull in that data to update the correct records with the new data. This is truly the cost-effective future of data downloading!

While keeping the aforementioned in mind, perhaps the most important aspect to consider when looking at carrier download capabilities is to ask yourself: “Do I need this level of capability?”

While automatic updating of records obviously saves time and effort, carrier downloading is a capability that has always been structured around and for the larger agencies that are receiving downloads to edit/update dozens if not hundreds of records each day. If you are a smaller- to mid-sized agency, chances are, you only need to edit/update a few records (if any) on a daily basis.  In AGENCY EXPERT, these updates can be performed quicker and more efficiently by simply accessing the record and making the required change. The main aspect to consider is that if you do not have massive amounts of records to update on a daily basis; the cost of purchasing a system and setting up the proprietary downloads from your carriers (assuming all your carriers DO download data) will in most cases well exceed the value of the capability.  Especially when those few daily or weekly edits/updates can simply be made by hand. Better still, if you find that you are an agent or agency that is, in fact, not requiring proprietary download capability because your book of business is not large enough to require that level of automation, you will thus also not have to purchase a $10,000 -
$25,000 agency management system that uses this capability as one of their major selling points.

The Property Casualty Module Includes all of the capabilities and modules detailed above bundled together at one low price of $595 + a Mandatory $250/year Support fee for the continuous updating of the ACORD forms. Note that you may also purchase these modules separately should you desire or if you feel one or more of the modules would not fit your needs.

Link / Synchronization to Quickbooks and/or Quickbooks Pro Accounting Software
The Quickbooks Synch. Module allows AGENCY EXPERT to synchronize with the Quickbooks and Quickbooks Pro dual-entry accounting packages. Data from AGENCY EXPERT and Quickbooks is synchronized and thus shared between the two applications. This allows Invoices, Credit Memos, Sales Receipts, and other vital accounting functions to be generated/performed from within AGENCY EXPERT and saved in your Quickbooks accounting software without the need for duplication of entry. All your commissions data is shared as well. The time savings and ease-of-use given by this link is unbelievable!       (Not Included with P&C Module - Cost: $195 + $50/year)
