“The Best Thing for the Inside of a person is the outside of a horse” Ever since man and horse worked together an amazing relationship began to develop. The horse is one of the most beautiful, powerful and honest creatures on this planet. To gain a relationship with such an exceptional being is not only engaging but a life-changing experience. I have worked with various breeds of horses (Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, Arabian, Mustang, Appendix, etc.) in a training capacity for over ten years. I do not use, nor do I necessarily believe, in any kind of a “sixth sense” with regard to the training of any horse. Instead, I use an approach that we, as human beings, use every day... respect, affection and observation. My goals in working with any horse and are as follows: 1) Create a relationship, 2) Earn his/her trust, My method is one used by hundreds, if not thousands, of trainers around the world. An approach using the basis of “press and release” to attain dominance and trust while creating comfort and security with a “hands-on” approach. Through a four-step process, I believe that ANY horse can learn to partner with his/her owner to create a relationship borne on trust, relaxation and security.
